Yes, there are many vegan dishes that are not fried here.
11am every day.
Great food in general. The opening hours are quite long, which works for late nighters. Curry Beef over rice has an even balance of sweet and spicy. There were some issues but, it's still great!
Best Chinese in the ID!
Good old fashioned Chinese cuisine, open nice and late.
Good food and reasonable price. Service is quick. .
After ordering the waiter asked us to pay before we got our food, kinda weird but we went ahead and paid. Ordered some drinks then while we were eating a different waiter came back and asked whos paying for these. Then they came back and demanded we give a tip. Mind you we didnt write a tip in the first place cause we payed before we were even served water. But they did have a really clean bathroom.
Really tasty authentic food here! It's located in a great space in front of the park. The staff here were pretty friendly. The tea was a nice touch to our dinner. Will say that the place is pretty small in terms of size. I was constantly bumping into people due to tight walk areas, but that doesn't stop people from coming. It was packed the entire time we were there, which is good because it reassured us we picked a great spot.
Nice place, with good and tasty food for reasonable price.
Good economical lunch in a nice place
Average taste. Full of people.
Everything’s fine except for the white rice is a little too expensive.
Kung pao chicken and great menu(100+ items), most around 10$ for dinner
Food was very good and good-sized portions! Waitstaff is super nice too! (Only drawback is the I.D. always seems kind of dirty to me.)
Delicious food, family atmosphere after the Sounders match
Excellent food, lovely decor, & nice staff.
This is a tough decision for me. I would like to point out that the honey-glazed pork makes this restaurant undeserving of such a high rating, but I realized that as an asian, I am not and will most likely never enjoy overly sweet meat dishes. The rice and ho-fun, or flat rice noodles were average. Nothing too special, price is reasonable. What stood out was the “pea seedlings,” as translated by google. They were flavorful and delicious, and I would have ordered more if I were not so full. I hope this dish is more than a one-time impression.
Open super late so we loved that. Always looking for good food after the bar closes or close to it. It was nice to have something that wasn't fast food after the game. Service was great, food was great.
Love this place! Usually quick service and open late. I've been coming here for years and highly suggest the hit and sour soup and honey walnut shrimp. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu though!
Great food nice service.
The food is amazing. The staff just treated us horribly. Asked us to wait when there was obviously space. Asked us to pay before we got the food. Rished us and asked for tip before we were done lol.
Very traditional restaurant in really really love their food I would have gave them 5 stars but then leaving the dude asked for a tip well why would I want to give you a tip when you ask for one and you didn't even do anything special you kind of ignored us the entire time and got mad because my Hispanic girlfriend at the time couldn't speak Mandarin so yeah you guys are going from 4 5 Stars 2-1 maybe next time
Great lunch specials plenty of food for a great price
Best Chinese in Chinatown!
Amazing, authentic food every time. Great service, even with our group of eight. Been here many times and liked it every time.
Great spot for fast, authentic, family style Chinese food.
Great food, service and menu. Prices are excellent and be hungry 😁, large servings, most dishes are plenty for two!
This place has really good food & the people there are awesome
Lots of amazing food at an awesome price, absolutely worth the trip to Chinatown
BY FAR THE WORSE SERVICE I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED! 1) I came with a party of 10 and was told there was no space when we could obviously see there was more than enough.2) After waiting 30 mins, we were seated at the empty table we saw when we walking in. 3) Upon ordering, we were IMMEDIATELY brought the receipt and TOLD to pay before we eat (Never experienced this at a restaurant).4) After completing our meal, the hostess returned and demanded us to tip for the sub-par service we received. Overall, great food but the staff is definitely racist.
I really like this place. I've seen other reviews say it was bland but I prefer it a bit "bland" and without MSG headaches. I've been on a quest and their Hong Kong style seafood pan fried noodles are probably one of the better ones in the city. Looks like they've remodeled recently and one of the few restaurants in the I-District with an "Excellent " health rating. I hope they keep it that way and others around that district follow suit.
Was looking for an authentic Chinese restaurant for dinner. Was recommended this restaurant by a local. Place is clean although a bit dated. Could do with a renovation. The waiter was most pleasant as he explained the specials on the night. Tried the General Tso's chicken which is basically sweet and sour chicken. Very well cooked with just the right amount of batter and the sauce was tasty. Ordered the claypot eggplant with pork which was delicious. The fried little fish was crispy and cooked just right. Overall, a good Cantonese restaurant with good food at a reasonable price
Terrible service. We went to fortune garden and my cousins goes in and they said they stop them from entrance and they stopped em before entering and said it’s full(didnt tell them a time so I had to go and ask). We go inside and ordered. They said we have to pay first ,so I asked why and they said we’re over the limit so I asked what the limit was and they was hesitant. We paid and kept the receipt. ( we didn’t want to tip yet till the food). Then we order soda and the waitress was saying who’s paying and then we said can we finish eating first. Then she came back with the bill and said we had to tip. I said you can’t force tip you made us pay first and gave us attitude
Food was very good, servers friendly. Definitely a place I'll be back to.
Hole in the wall with large, delicious portions, exactly what I needed to eat at midnight
High quality food served to share.
Best place to get your Chinese food fix. Great service, amazing food and you can't beat the price.
One of the best Cantonese restaurant in China town, and the servers are more friendly than another Cantonese restaurant in China town. The seafood was very fresh, I would definitely come again!
A bit of a wait but understandable once you taste their food. Food came out fast Everything we ordered, and we ordered a ton, was delicious.
Whats not to love. Quality food in china town. For sure a favorite.
Fantastic chicken congee! Great quality food, friendly staff, clean place.
Great tasting food and very cost-effective for the family. I can always tell if my children really like it as they scarf the left-overs, which they have. Effectively, each dish is really two feedings. If we were local, we would come back.
We ordered a Crab which charge by the weight. The waiter showed us a crab and said it’s 2 pounds. Later we received a bill of 2.8 lbs. The restaurant is definitely over charging customers by lying about the weight of their seafood. The same thing happened for our scallop. For 2 scallop they charge for 1.5 lbs. Can you image for such a small scallop to weight about 0.75lb! The restaurant is a list!
I like this place: food is great, price is inexpensive, waitresses are friendly, definitely will come back again。photo 1: BitterMelon/Beef over ricephoto2: Kung Po Chicken
Delicious and friendly staff
Wanted to have some General Tso's when I was visiting here from Indianapolis and the portion, tastes and hospitality blew my expectations out of the water. Highly recommend.
Great place, good food
Food was delicious. Coworker and I got the lunch special. Very reasonable prices. I would recommend. Oh and the only place on the block with an "Excellent" health rating for their food
Great food in Chinatown. Get a dish with the "locally sourced chinese mushrooms" a totally new taste to me.
The past two times I have been there, the service has been excellent and the food comes quick. They serve you complementary hot tea. They menu can be a little overwhelming because there are so many options, but everything I have had is delicious. The pot stickers appetizer are so good and homemade. I usually get the #190. It has veggies and beef stir fry inside a "crunchy noodle" pie. SO GOOD. And everything there is pretty affordable! Helpings are huge and shareable.
Got the Schezuan Tofu (off menu item) and this was possibly the best tofu dish I've ever had. Paired really well with the sticky fried rice.
Food is amazing if you know how to order. Seafood is always a hit here and the owners go above and beyond to help customers. Always busy and crowded, but well worth the trip.
